New Digital Exhibit of MLK Writings, Discussion with King Family to Highlight Civil Rights Movement’s Impact on Current “Occupy” Movement
(MONTGOMERY, AL) – In observance of the 56th Anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute (SYLDI) in partnership with Alabama State University presents the Martin Luther King Jr. Digital Image Exhibit. The exhibit is the result of collaboration between the MLK Center in Atlanta and JP Morgan Chase to digitize the writings and works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and present them in an interactive display format to be enjoyed by the public. Activities will also include an in-depth roundtable with members of the family of civil rights hero Martin Luther King Jr.
